Harley Davidson. Motorcyle Chopper Helmets

For Harley Davidson and for their loyal customers, the motorcycles we build aren't just motorcycles. They are living pieces of American history, mystique on two wheels. They are the vehicle with which our riders discover the power, the passion, and the people that define the Harley-Davidson Experience.

Like so many American success stories, Harley-Davidson Motor Company began its life with little more than a dream and a lot of hard work. In 1903 four ambitious entrepreneurs built the first Harley-Davidson® motorcycle inside a small wooden shed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Three were Davidson brothers. The fourth was Bill Harley.

Today Harley-Davidson employs over 9,000 people in the U.S. and abroad. Corporate headquarters are located near the site of the now famous shed, just west of downtown Milwaukee.

In 1993 Harley-Davidson added the Buell Motorcycle Company. With its line of nimble responsive sport bikes, Buell completes a family of motorcycles that truly offers something for everyone. Even though Harley-Davidson® and Buell® motorcycles are steeped in tradition, we support our dealers with state-of-the-art manufacturing plants, research and development facilities, distribution centers and ancillary services. Manufacturing is done at three locations in Wisconsin as well as in York, Pennsylvania and Kansas City, Missouri. A technologically advanced Product Development Center and a state-of-the-art Parts and Accessories Distribution Center help expedite information and products to our dealer network.

From the very earliest days, Harley-Davidson® has favored evolution of its powerful engines over radical change. The Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead and Evolution engines are all deeply immersed in the heritage of the Motor Company and the hearts of the enthusiasts. The Twin Cam 88™ and Twin Cam 88B™ engines are now earning their own place in company folklore while the powerful Revolution™ engine in the stunning V-Rod® motorcycle is taking Harley-Davidson® down roads never traveled before. The Harley-Davidson® line of motorcycles is divided into five families: Sportster®, VRSC, Dyna, Softail® and Touring. Each family includes a variety of models. So, from the legendary 883cc Sportster® models to the 1450cc Ultra Classic® touring models, Harley-Davidson has a bike to fit any rider.

Buell motorcycles were created for riders who demand a unique and different approach to sport-bike design, styling, ergonomics and performance. Buell provides innovative and exotic American-style sport motorcycles that deliver superior handling, tremendous torque and exceptional street performance for all real road riding conditions.
